Upgrades, extra circuits and RCDs. If your board still has ceramic fuses, this is the one that matters.
Replacements and new runs, indoors and out. Cheaper to run and far cooler in the roof space.
Home chargers wired properly on their own circuit, with the load on your board checked first.
Ceiling fans, extra GPOs, ovens and cooktops. The small jobs that never seem to get booked.
Nuisance tripping, dead circuits, old wiring. Found and fixed, not guessed at.
Festoons, garden lighting, sensors and outdoor power. Weather-rated and built to last.
EC 16066. Every job to Australian standards, with the paperwork to match.
You get the number before the work starts, not after it finishes.
If something changes you get a call, not silence and a missed morning.
Drop sheets down, mess taken with us. You should not be able to tell we were there.
A mains board change is the job worth booking before anything else in the house. If your board still has the old porcelain fuse wire, it has no RCD protection on it, and nothing is going to trip before you do.
Porcelain fuse wire, no RCD protection, and no idea which circuit is which.
Individual RCBOs on every circuit, labelled, tested and certified.
Most domestic board upgrades come in at $2,500 to $3,000. The number of safety switches sets where yours lands, and it can go higher if the earthing needs upgrading or a new earth rod. You get a fixed price in writing before any work starts.

Based in Padbury and covering Perth from Alkimos in the north to Fremantle in the south. Just outside that with a switchboard upgrade? Ring and ask.
Most domestic switchboard upgrades in Perth come in between $2,500 and $3,000. Where yours lands depends on how many safety switches the house needs, and it can go higher if the earthing system needs upgrading or a new earth rod has to go in. Coming out to look and quote is free, and you get a fixed price in writing before anything starts.
The clearest sign is ceramic fuses, the old porcelain holders with fuse wire in them. If that is what you have, there is no RCD protection on the circuits. Other signs are breakers that trip for no obvious reason, rust or scorch marks inside the box, a board with no room left in it, or wanting to add solar, an EV charger or a second oven.
Most domestic boards are done inside a day, with the power off for part of it. You get told the day before roughly how long the power will be down so you can plan around the fridge and anyone working from home. Bigger jobs, or ones where the meter box has to be moved, can run longer.
Western Australia requires homes to have RCD protection on power and lighting circuits, and they need to be in place before a home is sold or rented out. If you are not sure what is on your board, send a photo of the inside of it and you will get a straight answer.
